Due to COVID-19, MECC will not be able to host Home Craft Days as a live event for 2020; however, we will be having a virtual Home Craft Days 2020 event that will be broadcast this October. More details about the virtual event – including the date and time of the broadcast – will be announced soon.

At this time, we will no longer be accepting vendor applications to participate in this year’s Home Craft Days 2020 virtual event, or refund requests, as the deadline date for both festival registration – and to request a refund of paid registration fees – closed on August 17, 2020. All vendors who had registered for Home Craft Days 2020 – but did not request a refund of their paid fees by the deadline date – will automatically be registered for Home Craft Days 2021, and their registration fee for the 2020 festival will be paid forward to cover their fee for the 2021 festival; these vendors will also be included in the vendor directory for the Home Craft Days 2020 virtual event. Any registered vendor or demonstrator for Home Craft Days 2020 who would prefer not to be included in the directory of vendors, which will be featured on our Home Craft Days website as part of the virtual event taking place this October, will need to contact Krisanne Hickman at khickman@mecc.edu, or by calling 276-523-2400 ext. 310. The online application for our 50th anniversary Home Craft Days festival in 2021 will be made active on the homecraftdays.org website later on this year.
